Piana，佐佐木直子(Naoko Sasaki)的個人Project，1976年出生于日本盛岡市，98年與Minamo的吉他手巖下裕一郎合組card skepper。在日本發(fā)行首張個人專輯「Snow bird」，從創(chuàng)作、錄音到制作幾乎一手包辦，她純熟運用計算機音樂軟件，輕巧地讓電子化的聲音如蝴蝶般在歌聲四周拍動著翅膀，或是重、延長回響，留白或是打斷旋律的行進(jìn)，加上她脆弱、甜美、空靈的嗓音唱出內(nèi)省的少女獨白，令人一聽傾心。雖有著偶像歌手般亮麗外型，卻跳脫乍聽之下的粉紅色日本少女「流行」歌謠窠臼，音樂獨特而清新。
Piana is a Japanese female artist.
Her musical activity began with Card Skepper, a collaboration with guitarist Yuichiro Iwashita who participates now in an electro acoustic unit Minamo (cubic music, quakebasket, apestaartje, 360 records).In June 2003, she released her first album “snow bird” on a Japanese label, cubic music. In November “snow bird” was licensed to happy label in New York for worldwide release.In October 2005, she released her second album “ephemeral” on happy label.In December 2005, she went on the 7 cities tour (including Stockholm, Sweden) as a launching tour for “ephemeral”.In March 2006, she visited Oslo, Norway to shoot the music video of “something is lost”, the first track of her 2nd album.Her warm, innocent & beautiful voice and sentimental, lyrical music which soaks easily to listener's mind, were highly praised internationally.Now she is making a collaboration mini-album with Her Space Holiday and Joseph Nothing.
