從藝歷程：Johnny Aries在Two Wounded Birds樂隊開始他的音樂生涯，Two Wounded Birds是2010年在肯特（Kent）的馬蓋特（Margate）組建的英國搖滾樂隊。樂隊由約翰尼危機Johnny Danger（主唱，吉他）， Ally Blackgrove（貝司），Joe Stevens（吉他）和James Shand（鼓手）組成。該樂隊是surf-rockabilly-punk-with-melody風格。當時在樂隊是以Johnny Danger的名義。Aries的吉他和令人回味的聲音是樂隊的焦點。在發(fā)行了一些單曲和一張2012年發(fā)行的樂隊同名專輯后，Two Wounded Birds樂隊解散。在這之后，Aries開始在志同道合的獨立樂團the Drums擔任現(xiàn)場吉他手，改名為Johnny Aries，同時，在90年代復興主義樂隊Swim Deep擔當現(xiàn)場鍵盤手。在跟隨the Drums在世界各地開演唱會之后，Aries搬到了紐約市，靠近the Drums的基地，并且開始準備solo。他首先發(fā)行的是對Smith的"Back to the Old House"的翻唱集，由他的新廠牌Frenchkiss在2014年初發(fā)布。他的首張專輯“Unbloomed”于2014年夏末發(fā)行，在這張專輯里能聽到Aries身上60年代對他留下的一些影響，還有80年代的色彩。
