Peter Raeburn

Peter Raeburn is an award-winning London based musician known for his work in TV commercials and films.
He was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, and shortly after the family moved to London, where he was raised. His paternal grandfather was an opera singer and music was a part of his family life. Throughout school and university, where he studied philosophy and politics, Raeburn immersed himself in music, playing and writing all the time.
In 1999, Raeburn sourced and remixed the famous soundtrack for the Guinness TV commercial, "Surfer" directed by Jonathan Glazer. He also worked with Glazer on “Birth” and “Sexy Beast”.
Raeburn is creative director of Soundtree, a company specialising in music for picture.
His debut solo album, entitled You and Me, is out on Nowever Records and he is in the process of scoring a new feature film.
