Biographyby John BushLarry Gowan founded the band Rheingold but later left for a solo career. His self-titled debut appeared in 1982; Strange Animal was released three years later. The albums Great Dirty World (1987), Lost Brotherhood (1990) and But You Can Call Me Larry! (1993) followed.
