The Midnight Beast are a British music group from London UK. The Midnight Beast are most famous for their Youtube cover-parody of Tik Tok by Ke$ha. The video, posted on their YouTube on 13 December 2009, features all three group members: Stefan Abingdon (born 19 January 1989), Dru Wakely (born 10 February 1987) and Ashley Horne (born 4 January 1989). Abingdon added a '£' to his forename for the Tik Tok parody to mimic the '$' that Ke$ha had added to her stagename.
Abingdon has been in other bands that include, (chronologically): Ink, Icarus Burning (2005), Killafornia, R.U.Twin, The Clik Clik (2005–2008), Perfect People, Chapters (previously known as The Midnight Patrol - still present) and The Midnight Beast (still present).
Abingdon recently co-wrote and produced a track titled "When the Sun Goes Down" for the album of the same name, When the Sun Goes Down by American pop band Selena Gomez & the Scene.
Wakely appeared with Abingdon in Icarus Burning, The Clik Clik, and Perfect People.

Ke$ha saw and commented on the group's parody of her song six days after it was uploaded, tweeting "holy. shit. this is better than my version."
On 3 January 2010, the group uploaded another parody to their YouTube Channel of Jay Sean's song "Down". Sean tweeted about the parody on 21 January 2010: "Hahha brilliant. Someone should mix this with "pants on the ground"...".
The Midnight Beast have a rather large following on Twitter, Facebook and YouTube, with over 244,000 subscribers on their YouTube channel to date. The band's awards on its YouTube Channel are as follows:
