他和他的樂隊(duì)曾經(jīng)入選英國Daily Mail“2007值得注目新人”的英倫流行搖滾新銳樂團(tuán)，彷佛是Dr. Dre制作David Bowie的歌曲一樣前衛(wèi)有趣。英國The Sunday Express日報(bào)、權(quán)威音樂網(wǎng)站AMG齊聲四顆星好評推薦。
 
Mr. Hudson本名Ben Hudson, 畢業(yè)自牛津大學(xué)、主修英國文學(xué)。Mr Hudson是催生英倫新銳流行樂團(tuán)Mr Hudson & The Library的靈魂人物﹔2007年出了好評如潮的專輯 《Tales of Two Cities》之后，被美國Hip Hop天王Kanye West發(fā)掘并簽約，現(xiàn)在已然成為Kanye West重點(diǎn)培養(yǎng)的門徒。“他是一位可以一鳴驚人的藝人”Kanye去年接受歐洲MTV電視臺采訪時(shí)說，“我相信他有超越我的潛力，他有可能成為他這個(gè)年 代最重要的音樂家之一。”是的，很快他就幫助Kanye West在《808s & Heartbreak》
 
專輯創(chuàng)作了兩首歌，不僅獻(xiàn)聲，而且教Kanye怎么唱歌。去年年底他的個(gè)人第二張專輯《Straight No Chaser》上市，第一波單曲《Supernova》唱遍了大街小巷，也迅速攻占?xì)W美各大音樂榜單的寶座。而今年年初在Jay –Z的《Blue Print 3》中也出現(xiàn)了Mr. Hudson的身影，一首《Young Forever》 MV的熱播，讓更多的人記住了這位金發(fā)的英國大帥哥。
 
此外，Mr Hudson也是時(shí)尚中人，因?yàn)槠渲v究的穿著品味，這兩年開始成為歐美各種音樂時(shí)尚雜志的常客，包括GQ，Vogue，Complex等等。在去年的時(shí)候他還幫Kanye West X Louis Vuitton的春夏系列設(shè)計(jì)了一雙叫做“Mr Hudson”的低幫鞋。另外他還跟貝克漢姆，Snoop Dogg，Noel Gallagher， N-Dubz等一眾明星們一起出現(xiàn)在Adidas Original新一輯廣告《星球大戰(zhàn)》之中。

Merging an unusual combination of genres, Mr. Hudson (aka Ben Hudson on vocals and guitar) applied his love for Chet Baker and Cole Porter to his skills in hip-hop production. To play his songs live, he formed the Library, comprised of Maps Huxley (bass), Wilkie Wilkinson (drums), Joy Joseph (steel drums, vocals), and Torville Jones (piano). The first result, an EP entitled Bread & Roses, came out via Deal Real in October 2006. The group toured with Amy Winehouse in early 2007 in support of its debut album, A Tale of Two Cities, released through Deal Real/Mercury. A slate of festival appearances followed during the summer, but Hudson's biggest act of promotion came courtesy of rapper Kanye West, who signed him to his G.O.O.D. Music label and featured Hudson's production and vocals on 2008's number one album, 808s & Heartbreak. Mr. Hudson's second album, Straight No Chaser, appeared in August 2009, ably assisted by a single (&Supernova&) featuring West.
