2004年Alter Bridge發(fā)行了他們的首張專輯One Day Remains,同時(shí)推出首支單曲Open Your Eyes。

Alter Bridge is an American rock band from Orlando, Florida, formed in 2004. The lineup consists of Myles Kennedy (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Mark Tremonti (lead guitar, backing vocals), Brian Marshall (bass), and Scott Phillips (drums, percussion). Since the band's formation, there have been no line-up changes.

Following the break-up of Creed in 2004, former members Tremonti, Marshall, and Phillips began working with Kennedy, formerly of The Mayfield Four. Naming the new band after a bridge that once existed on Alter Road near Tremonti's former home, Alter Bridge released their debut album One Day Remains to mixed reviews the same year. One Day Remains would go on to be certified Gold by the RIAA. Driven by the release of the single &Rise Today&, the band released their second album Blackbird to more positive reviews in 2007, with the band embarking on a world tour in support.
Tremonti, Marshall, and Phillips reunited with Creed for a tour and album in 2009, while Kennedy recorded two songs for guitarist Slash's solo album in 2010, before fronting his solo band for a supporting tour. During this time, Alter Bridge continued to write material, and they released their third album AB III in 2010 to critical acclaim, with the single &Isolation& becoming the band's most successful single to date. The band embarked on a world tour in support of AB III from late 2010 to early 2012.

The members of Alter Bridge returned to focus on other projects, most of which released albums in 2012: Tremonti, Marshall, and Phillips toured with Creed; Tremonti released a solo album titled All I Was and formed a solo band that briefly featured Marshall; Kennedy continued his collaboration with Slash, releasing the album Apocalyptic Love; and Phillips formed the supergroup Projected with members of Sevendust and Submersed, releasing an album called Human. The following year, Alter Bridge announced that the band's fourth album entitled Fortress is to be released in September 2013, with an accompanying tour commencing that October.

One Day RemainsAlter Bridge resurrected the music-making portion of Creed. After that band's 2004 dissolution, guitarist Mark Tremonti and drummer Scott Phillips tapped ousted bassist Brian Marshall for the new project. Ex-Mayfield Four frontman Myles Kennedy was soon on board as well, and Alter Bridge made their Wind-Up debut in August 2004 with One Day Remains. Written largely by Tremonti, the record tried to lean more toward a hard rock/metal sound than the post-grunge grandstanding of his previous group. After touring the world to support the album, the band decided to leave Wind-Up and sign with the Universal imprint Republic. In late 2007 the label released Blackbird, an album that featured more songwriting contributions from Kennedy. Their third album, AB III, was released in 2010, followed in 2012 by the concert recording Live at Wembley: European Tour 2011.
