CHVRCHES是一支來(lái)自蘇格蘭的電音流行樂隊(duì)，2011年成立于格拉斯哥，由 Lauren Mayberry, Iain Cook和Martin Doherty組成。
 
樂隊(duì)的首張專輯《The Bones of What You Believe》發(fā)行于2013年，空降英國(guó)專輯榜第九，英國(guó)銷量超12萬(wàn)張獲金唱片認(rèn)證，美國(guó)銷量超18萬(wàn)張。
 
2015年發(fā)行的第二張專輯《Every Open Eye》打入英國(guó)榜前五，獲得了眾多媒體的一致好評(píng)，收錄于多個(gè)年度最佳榜單之中。專輯登頂Billboard另類專輯榜，搖滾專輯榜以及蘇格蘭專輯榜，在澳大利亞和愛爾蘭分獲第三和第四。
 
2018年5月25日，樂隊(duì)的第三張專輯《Love Is Dead》發(fā)行。在前兩張專輯為CHVRCHES帶來(lái)的聲譽(yù)和贊美之后，《Love Is Dead》的風(fēng)格時(shí)而欣快，時(shí)而苦樂參半。專輯收錄單曲《Miracle》和《Get Out》，以及此前發(fā)行的《My Enemy》(feat. The National主唱Matt Berninger) 和《Never Say Die》。專輯的故事是關(guān)于成長(zhǎng)和 “認(rèn)識(shí)到這個(gè)世界上即有美妙的也有丑惡的事物，你無(wú)法擇一而從。” Mayberry解釋道。
 
在樂隊(duì)的音樂生涯中，《Love Is Dead》是首張見證CHVRCHES迎接外部人員參與的作品。2017和2018年格萊美年度制作人Greg Kurstin (合作藝人Adele, Sia) 參與制作了9首曲目，2018年全英音樂獎(jiǎng)年度制作人Steve Mac也制作了一首曲目。

Chvrches (pronounced as "churches" and stylised as CHVRCHES) are a Scottish electronic band, formed in 2011. The group consists of Lauren Mayberry (lead vocals, additional synthesisers, and samplers), Iain Cook (synthesisers, guitar, bass, vocals), and Martin Doherty (synthesisers, samplers, vocals).[1]
Chvrches came fifth on the BBC's Sound of 2013 list of the most promising new music talent.[2] In March 2013, they released Recover EP. Their debut studio album The Bones of What You Believe was released on 20 September 2013.
Their song The Mother We Share was featured in the opening video for the 2014 Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony in Glasgow, Scotland, on the 23rd July 2014
