Christian was born in London in 1971 and found his way into film composition from early beginnings in the UK Drum & Bass, Breakbeat and Pop scene of the 1990s working with the likes of LTJ Bukem, The Freestylers, Scott Walker & Roy Ayers. Through writing for over 50 hit, and cult TV series including &Top Gear& and &Two Pints Of Lager And A Packet Of Crisps& whilst programming for and assisting a number of film composers including Anne Dudley, Harry & Rupert Gregson Williams, Dario Marianelli and Patrick Doyle.

Since his debuts with &Les Fils Du Vent& & &Chasing Liberty& in 2004 (which earned Christian a Best Newcomer nomination at that year's &World Soundtrack Awards&), Christian has used his broad experience both in orchestral and electronic disciplines to write an eclectic mixture of scores from the children's blockbuster fantasy &The Secret Of Moonacre& (featuring Bat For Lashes' Natasha Khan) to Chris Smith's cult horror hit &Severance& (which earned him an Ivor Novello nomination for &Best Original Movie Score& in 2007).

In 2009 Christian delivered a clutch of film scores including two for director, Christopher Smith: &Triangle& featuring the vocals of Dot Allison and the eagerly awaited &Black Death& with Sean Bean leading a star studded cast. A collaboration with Oscar winner Dario Marianelli for Working Title's &Hippie Hippie Shake&. Comedian, Ben Miller's directoral debut &Huge&, and the not-to-be-missed &La Rafle& starring Jean Reno and Melanie Laurent, ing the plight of 13,000 Jewish citizens of occupied WWII France who were rounded up by their fellow country-men and sent to Auschwitz. Christian has also taken over as composer for the globally recognised &Agatha Christie's - Poirot& TV franchise and has delivered two feature length scores, with two more, including &Murder On The Orient Express& slated for 2010.
