Airs Formed in late 2009, Airs is a band that doesn't conform to any one scene. They don't quite fit in with the post-black metal bands, they're too metal to be called post-rock and they're too rock to be called metal. The two members of the band, Verwüstung and Xio, both bring influences from various forms of music including black metal, pop, rock n' roll, noise music and more. As of July 2010, the band has released several EPs, a demo and are working on a full length and are planning to bring the Airs experience to the stage in Summer 2011.
