有這樣一支特別的法國(guó)樂(lè)隊(duì)，NINE ELEVEN，在短短的四年的時(shí)間里，他們不僅在歐洲做了兩百多場(chǎng)音樂(lè)會(huì)的演出，在Loko錄音室，他們還分別于2007年和2009年9月發(fā)行了Use your Disillusion和City of Quartz兩張唱片，其中City of Quartz被業(yè)界一致認(rèn)為是歐洲最好的硬核音樂(lè)唱片之一。
我們可以這樣來(lái)概括NINE ELEVEN的音樂(lè)風(fēng)格：在你欣賞他們的音樂(lè)的時(shí)候，你會(huì)忘記所有即定的音樂(lè)風(fēng)格，而享受的是一種完全與眾不同的的體驗(yàn)。你也可以稱(chēng)他們的音樂(lè)為新硬核朋克，極具現(xiàn)代感和節(jié)奏感。但是，同時(shí)他們也不是完全的違背所有音樂(lè)的規(guī)則，因?yàn)闆](méi)有一個(gè)人會(huì)欣賞一個(gè)總是花心思去違背常規(guī)，做混亂音樂(lè)的樂(lè)隊(duì)?；蛟S這就是NINE ELEVEN樂(lè)隊(duì)的獨(dú)特魅力所在，他們總是有著特立獨(dú)行的音樂(lè)風(fēng)格卻也總是能被大家所接受?？梢哉f(shuō)，他們對(duì)生活的態(tài)度都是積極向上的，但是卻從不屈從于大眾思維，他們與那些看上去似乎總是閃著耀眼的金光的當(dāng)今主流音樂(lè)完全不同。
When it comes to the band, it took only four years to NINE ELEVEN since their first efforts to play more than 200 gigs throughout Europe and release two albums recorded at Loko studios, 2007's Use your Disillusion and City of Quartz, which will come out in September 2009 through some of the very best European labels in Hardcore (in Digisleeve, vinyl and classic edition).
As to the musical direction taken by the band, it follows a well-established agenda that can be summed up as thus: Thou shall ignore the rules prescribed in such-and-such precise "style" and stray off the beaten tracks! One could name it New School Hardcore Punk, Modern or Melodic HxC... And yet, none of those cherished labels would exactly fit to a band that has always endeavored to escape the boxes that one would sometimes want them to stay into.
As to the band's lyrics and philosophy, they are totally anchored in the independent and original spirit of Hardcore 朋克: they are positive and against mainstream thinking, far from the glitter and gloss of a second-hand jet set sometimes adored by a fringe of today's hardcore scene.
