Pat D來自英國中部城市Hull,曾參與過法國Jazzy Hip-Hop名團Jazz Liberatorz,作品更是受到Nujabes及Specifics的大力推薦.與女MC Lady Parabox合作的首張專輯"Kind Of Peace",于07年10月在英國新興Hip-Hop廠牌A Bridge Too Far Recordings旗下發(fā)行.整張專輯著重于爵士樂器的發(fā)揮,優(yōu)美笛聲,復古鋼琴,還運用了大量的弦樂.優(yōu)雅的節(jié)奏配合獨特的憂愁穿插于歌曲當中,不再有Hip-Hop一貫的煩躁,令人放松心情,享受平靜.
Pat D & Lady Paradox are currently working on a follow up to 'Kind of Peace' which features a number of guests emcees, vocalists and musicians. The album features a mix of sample based beats and live instrumentation and will hopefully be ready for summer 2009. Tracks will be posted soon! So keep checking back!
