This is a great CD. I'm not much of a fan of modern music but I loved this disc because it had many references to 80s music, which is my favorite musical era, I'd have to say.

Their first single off of it, Axl Rose, is a great song that uses classic GnR riffs from Sweet Child O' Mine and Paradise City, and uses some Axl-style vocals and writing. I think it's about GnR fans and how some of them are today, 5-10 years later, with no lives. It's kind of funny.

Next great song is a cover of Peter Gabriel's In Your Eyes. First time I heard this it was a 1:00 preview clip and it sent a chill down my spine as I was eager to hear more of this track. After finally hearing the whole thing, I really think they did a great job turning this mellow classic into a rock hit.

My 3rd favorite song on this is 1985, which everyone has heard, but by Bowling For Soup. Bowling For Soup's 1985 was actually a cover of Sr-71's 1985, even though it was released earlier. The lead singers are friends and BFS liked the song and wanted to cover it, and it was a hit. It's a great song, and I think SR-71's version has an extra verse, so it's even more worth listening to so you can hear what you've missed in BFS's rendition of it. If you notice in BFS's video, you'll see SR-71's lead singer, Mitch Allen, walking by shaking his head while seeing their George Michael parody. Hehe

Overall, a great CD. I also liked the Demo version of "She Was Dead" and the title track, Here We Go Again.?
