Miki González, is a Peruvian musician, born in Spain. He had a formal musical training, but always liked Afro-Peruvian music.
At the end of the seventies began to experiment with the blues and traditional African roots Peruvian coast, known as Afro-Peruvian music or simply "African." In the eighties, he decides to start a career in popular music and form a band, and many of its members would then popular Peruvian rock scene afterwards, as "Hair" Madueño, which form the League of Sleep Wicho and Garcia (now vocalist Mar de Copas). Miki Gonzales would take a course that ranged from new wave and Peruvian music itself. His first LP "You can be your 'took shape in 1984 but was released two years later because the existing censorship, no label wanted it edited. Topics such as "could be you" (originally called "the jungle") had strong verses as "The Navy is in Ayacucho" and other songs sported verses as "I do not want bullets, I want to study," "illegal airport, sudden millionaire." Perhaps the gentle song was his hit 'Tell me tell me. "In "many times" the songs became other issues outside of politics which had been flooded their first LP. His international popularity highpoint come with songs like "Akundún" (ethno-rock Afro-Peruvian fusion) and "Green leaf of coca" (ethno-rock fusion andina, alluding to the traditional use of the coca leaf) .
