Drist

Drist是一支來自于美國(guó)舊金山海灣地區(qū)的金屬樂隊(duì).早在1997年,他們?cè)诩永Ｄ醽喼菔ヱR特奧開始形成雛形,樂隊(duì)的名字Drist來自于威爾士土話,翻譯為"悲傷". Drist的首張專輯Bitter Halo發(fā)布于2003年,隨后在2006年他們又發(fā)布了Orchids和Ammunition兩張專輯.?
Mixing for "Science of Misuse" has finally begun. It took a little bit longer than anticipated to get things started since the studio has been booked pretty solid. I have yet to hear any rough mixes, but hopefully we will get those soon and we can start putting up some teasers before the release. In the meantime I have been writing quite a bit of material for the follow up to "Science of Misuse". So far there's roughly enough music for 7-8 songs. Aaron and I have been going over guitar parts and discussing arrangements, solos, etc. Lots of cool guitar stuff going on. I don't want to go into too much detail, but we're really excited to start demoing this stuff. Our website (www.Drist.com) is being completely redone and that should launch very soon. There will be some new photographs, gear information, member bios etc. We'll also have the responses to the "Ask the Band" blog posted there as well. Thanks to all those who submitted questions. I also spoke with Aaron about setting up a forum there so we can interact with fans, geek out about guitars, amps, etc. Should be cool. I also wanted to let everyone who has been asking about merchandise know that we are looking into it. We're basically trying to determine 00004000 who is offering the best product for the best price. So everyone should be able to get their Drist t-shirts, hoodies, beanies, g-strings, whatever... very soon!
