Forgotten Woods

來自挪威的Forgotten Woods可稱為自殺黑金屬的鼻祖了。成立于1991年，在發(fā)行了數(shù)張小樣后，樂團(tuán)于1994年發(fā)行了第一張全長(zhǎng)專集As the Wolves Gather。就當(dāng)時(shí)來看，樂團(tuán)自殺黑式的凄厲唱腔顯得十分獨(dú)特，加上雖壓抑卻十分流暢的旋律始終貫穿。

Additional notes
The founders and only constant members who played on all of the albums are Olav Berland and Rune Vedaa. Forgotten Woods never had an long-ranging drummer. On the debut album, it's Jarle Swahn who was in as a session drummer. On their EP 'Sjel Av Natten', it's Odd Ivar Tysse who's playing the drums, the same person who produced Forgotten Wood's comeback album 'Race of Cain'.
Reinhardt Toresen also did backing vocals on 'En Natt Med Storm Og Ravners Skrik' on the 'Sjel Av Natten' EP.
