Dirty Three的吉他手Mick Turner與小提琴手Jessica Billey組成了后搖實(shí)驗(yàn)團(tuán)體BONNEVILL，發(fā)行過1張6首曲目的同名EP唱片，并于2001年在Bella Union旗下發(fā)表了7首曲目的迷你唱片《Pelican》。同時(shí)，Mick Turner還在著名后搖廠牌Drag City旗下發(fā)表過兩張個(gè)人唱片，分別是97年的《TREN PHANTASMA》和99年的《MARLAN ROSA》。
Dirty Three相信已經(jīng)是大名鼎鼎,但這個(gè)樂隊(duì)大家可能并不熟悉.簡單的一把吉他,一把小提琴編織出一個(gè)夢幻般的音景世界.
Bonnevill is a Chicago-based duo consisting of Jessica Billey on violin and Mick Turner on guitar, with a combined effort on film.
Formed in 1999 as a side-project, Bonnevill has played various shows throughout the United States, Australia, and Europe. Live performances have in the past been accompanied by a road movie consisting of travelling images filmed and edited by BV. More recently, Bonnevill films have abandoned the travel aspect and evolved into loose, animated paintings. A collage of images swirled around together in an ever-changing landscape created on canvas.
Jessica Billey plays violin and sings with Disaster Action Team and also performs with Chicago groups the Lofty Pillars and the Boxhead Ensemble.
Mick plays guitar with Dirty Three and has done two solo albums for Chicago's Drag City Records, 'Tren Phantasma' and 'Marlan Rosa' and written with Cat Power on her album Moon Pix.
Jessica works with oil paints, chalk pastels, linoleum prints, and a 35mm camera. Mick works with acrylic paints and a digital high-8 camera.
This recording of seven tracks for the 'Bella Union Series 7' was recorded in Australia and is Bonnevill's second release. BV's first recording was released as part of a cd series for Travels In Constants
